There is no better combination than running your independent freelance business or salaried job from the gorgeous jungle and beaches of Tulum. We've compiled the best places for you to get your work done in peace, network, and enjoy the magic of Tulum.

During the months of May - October, reservations are not typically necessary or required due to capacity in Tulum.  You can always make a reservation for a Beach Club or restaurant but in general this is not needed during these months.

Beach:

Maya Hotel:  Maya is a newer hotel from the Hilton company that is especially friendly for coworking with high-speed and reliable internet service.  There are two areas for coworking:  a small shaded restaurant area with couches / sofas near the entry reception.  This first area does not have beach views.  The 2nd area is at the beach in the beach restaurant shaded area.  Note this area can have higher seaweed (sargossum) levels than other beach hotels due to it's geography.  Minimum consumption requirements vary by season but have typically averaged $500 mxp here with free valet parking (gratuity recommended).

Habitas Hotel:  Habitas is a high-end ecological hotel chain from Marriott located very close to the intersection of Avenida Coba-15 @ the Beach Road, just past the very large Papaya Playa Project property.  There is no sign for Habitas, just a symbol that you need to watch for at an entrance area.   The restaurant features an excellent coworking area, high speed reliable internet, and great shaded roof.  Next to the ground-level restaurant is a small event center that can offer more comfort and views of the water.  There is no water view from the restaurant area.  Typical minimum consumption averages $500-$700 mxp (varies by season / day).  Within the ground level restaurant, there is not typically bar service (it is up 2-3 floors - great views!).  The hotel has a pool near the beach and beach chairs - these are $2,000 mxp minimum consumption - different than the restaurant area.

Panamera Hotel:  Panamera is a much beloved locals favorite that is a little extra drive towards the Sian Kaan entrance, but very much worth the drive.  Panamera features a beach chair area and a restaurant area that is shaded with full restaurant service.  Automobile parking cost (valet) is $250 mxp and minimum consumption in the restaurant is approximately $500 mxp.  The beach lounge chair area has higher minimum consumption closer to $1,000 mxp.

Delek Hotel - Great beach option with good food options.  A not obvious place at the beach which is enjoyed by many locals.  Restaurant area that is shaded and beach chair / loungers.  Typically $500 mxp minimum at the restaurant tables and $1,000 mxp minimum consumption at the beach loungers.

Orchid House Hotel - Aldea Zama - Super cute 2nd floor pool hotel in Aldea Zama with a approximate $500 mxp minimum consumption.  Full pool usage is allowed with your visit and the vibes are relaxing, peaceful, and with jungle foliage.  Recommended easy option to socialize without a drive to the beach or pressure to purchase alcohol.

Once - La Veleta - A 2nd floor restaurant in La Veleta neighborhood popular for coworking with indoor and outdoor options.  Minimum consumption approximately $500 mxp.  You will find many people typically coworking at this restaurant which has great nightlife and live music options depending on the day also.

Norita Restaurant @ ArtHouse Condominiums in Aldea Zama - A very high quality restaurant with excellent internet, peaceful vibes, and pool views.  Use of the pool and pool lounge chairs / cabanas is not permitted -- just the restaurant tables.  High-end food of excellent quality and freshness including great ceviche and eggs.  Minimum consumption approximately $500 mxp.ney to this Mexican paradise.
